After playing in other bands such as Blindside, Hamish sought to fulfill his musical ambitions in his own band and with a back catalogue of songs waiting for their full potential to be realised, formed Cordrazine.

September 1996 – they signed to Melbourne independent record label Rubber Records.

November 1996 – Cordrazine hit the Gotham Studios with Nigel Derricks behind the mixing desk to record the debut EP TIME TO LEAVE.

1997 – Cordrazine hit the indie music scene with the release of their debut single CRAZY, receiving unprecedented radio airplay.
